Importance of Education & different sectors involved in it

Education has been one of the most important aspects of any human’s life. There are some religious and as well as societal effects that impose a great extent of its importance towards education. Governments all around the world have a fundamental objective that they need to provide education to every child of their country. They believe that by educating the children, a country shall get prosper. Because among many of these young ones, some of them will become entrepreneurs, some will become a Ph.D. researcher, some will become doctors and engineers, etc. Despite the fact whatever they will become, one thing is for sure that all of them will result in creating jobs and enhancing businesses. Which results in societal betterment.

The Role of Ministry of Education:

For any country, the ministry of education is one of the most important ministries. This ministry brings reforms in the educational sector of the country. They are the ones who understand the philosophy of education. This ministry ensures that every child of the country is getting an education and is not indulged in child labor. This ministry holds a higher education commission under their umbrella. Moreover, other than the education commission, all of the related educational bodies are obliged to follow the education ministry.

Global Education:

Every government tries to keep and maintain its educational infrastructure at the level where they could possibly fit in every country. It is more like a centralized system that is developed by the education ministry along with the other educational bodies. The concept of global education is gaining pace with the increase in globalization. People now are more interested in subjects pertaining to the knowledge of the global industry and global politics.

Vocational Courses and IT in Education:

Vocational Courses:

As the world is changing trends, the dynamics of the educational sector are also changing. The government and the people are now more focused on providing skillful education to the people. For example, their people who can neither read, nor write. They are the ones who have never seen a school. All that they have done is the work for the betterment of their household. The governments consider these people also as the human resource asset for the country. The reason being, these people love to work and are much more efficient in technical tasks than any other. For this purpose, the governments provide vocational courses for this segment. These courses are offered free of cost. These courses do not involve a pen or paper for proper learning. Rather they totally rely on practical learning of the people. Since these people are already working on the small scale businesses, they apply their practical learning to their co-workers as well and act as a trainer for them. Moreover, by vocational training, these individuals also get higher chances to avail themselves of international opportunities.

IT in Education:

Schools, colleges, and universities are now strongly focused on computer-based pieces of training. That is, all of the students of an educational institute, despite their educational departments learn basic computer knowledge. This basic knowledge includes learning daily usable software. It has made education simple and easy. For instance, taking an example of the COVID-19 pandemic here, all of the educational institutes were shut down, but still, students were getting an online education. If there has not been a factor of IT in Education, the situation would have been very different.

Teaching Methodology:

Teachers or the instructors of any course, may it be a vocational course, informal education, or any other school education department plays a vital role in defining the success of any of these. There is a possibility that a person might be a Ph.D. doctor or an overachiever in college. Yet they won’t be able to teach you. The reason being, learning solely depends upon the teaching methodology. Every teacher must be flexible and lenient enough so that the students may not hesitate on asking questions from their teachers. A teacher not only contributes to the course learning, but they also refine the ethics and manner of an individual. For example, have you ever thought that why at school they punish you for long nails, dirty shoes, and long hair? It is because they are preparing for the world that is coming for you and that these things are considered as the basics for any human. These are meant to be taught at the primary level of education. The teachers, therefore, keep a check on their students.

Having said this, the teaching methodology defines the interest of a student in a subject. Imagine studying the hcc with no practical examples. Or learning a mathematical equation without having a pertaining explanation. Or learning the working of a simple pendulum without having to get in the science lab. The point made here is that educational institutions are obliged to follow a different set of methodology for different courses of subjects.

Understanding the Philosophy of Education:

Most of us limit education to getting a degree. However, the philosophy of education is far beyond that. A degree can get you to an interview but the thing that will land you on the job is skills. Thankfully many governments around the world have understood the importance of education. Yet there are many more that needs to get over this. The changing trends of the world have made the educational institutions to revise their teaching methodology and focus more on providing skillful education to the children. Education should not be made limited to a particular curriculum. Rather everyone should have the opportunity to learn anything at school. This will enable a sense of self-learning among the young ones. Which could eventually result in producing more and more future business persons for the country. Moreover, people who grasp the importance of self-learning in the early stages of their life are more likely to become leaders in the future as compared to those who rely on others for learning.
